Asthma and Quick-Relief Medication Administration
Be prepared to respond with confidence when someone experiences an asthma emergency. This American Red Cross Skill Boost teaches participants how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an asthma episode, provide appropriate care, and assist with a prescribed quick-relief inhaler when needed. Through hands-on instruction, participants gain practical skills to respond safely, activate emergency medical services when appropriate, and provide ongoing support until help arrives. Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Administration
